What’s New at CloudFest
Because the world of the Cloud is always changing, CloudFest never sits still! Our newest additions to the world’s #1 internet infrastructure festival will make it… even more #1!
New Monday
Open Source, AI, and Agencies
March 17 features three days of tightly-focused programming in one:
- WP Day shines a light on the latest developments in the WordPress space—directly from the leaders and star developers working with this integral CMS.
- Agency Day connects web agencies, service providers, open source creators with one another to form new partnerships.
WP Zone
The Heart of the Open-Source Galaxy
CloudFest 2025 empowers internet infrastructure professionals to get the most out of WordPress, the world’s leading CMS. This is where the top product creators, platform managers, and entrepreneurs connect with each other and help cloud service providers take their WordPress game to the next level.
WP Zone orbits around a main stage that hosts keynotes, fireside chats, and expert panels to illuminate everything going on in this exciting community. From March 17-20, WP Zone serves as the hub of the WordPress and open-source communities. This is where the top companies in this space are sending their leaders and newest tools—and WP Zone is where the most exciting connections will happen!
Barcamp Sessions
Grab the Mic
It was standing room only during last year’s Barcamp sessions, so we’re doubling down on that concept. You’ll find two Barcamp stages at CloudFest 2025, bringing open source, cybersecurity, and other focused communities together for open conversations.
These fully-interactive sessions are your time to shine! Keep an eye on your inbox, because the full event agenda is coming soon.
Even More Networking
World-Class Access to Key Decision-Makers
While it would normally take months for open-source professionals to line up conversations with the biggest internet infrastructure companies in the world (if you could do it at all), at CloudFest you can talk to them all over the course of just a few days. This is because our tightly-curated attendee list features key cloud service and hosting decision-makers from around the world.
Networking is built into the entire CloudFest agenda, from your first cup of coffee in the morning until late, late at night when the parties end.
- Nightly parties, concerts, and after-parties
- VIP executive functions
- Pop-up parties in the Cloud Fair exhibition hall
Once the stage lights go down, the volume turns up! Our after-dark party and concert schedule is legendary, and you’re about to find out why!
Voltron Nevera
It’s Okay to Scream!
CloudFest attendees get to enjoy many of Europa-Park’s attractions during lunchtime March 18-20, and those now include the new Voltron Nevera—which features seven inversions, four launches, 2.2 seconds of weightlessness in one go and the world’s steepest launch at 105 degrees.
Almost as exciting as a rollercoaster startup pitch, right?
New Hackathon Venue
For a Larger Hackathon
The CloudFest Hackathon has grown in size and scope, so for its 8th edition it is moving to the Hotel Kronasar so the crew of hackers has enough room to do what they do best. The second application window is open January 6-26, so get in on the action if you read this in time!
From March 15-17 you’ll be joining a wide range of coders, designers, and problem-solvers as you tackle some of the open-source internet’s persistent challenges—and make the Cloud a better place for everyone.
The CloudFest Hackathon venue at the Hotel Kronasar will close once the Hackathon wraps up on March 17.
The CloudFest Blog
Not Just “Content”
Check out some interviews with internet infrastructure industry leaders; insights into how CloudFest works and what to expect; and deep dives into the pressing issues facing the Cloud. We don’t really like the word “content”, so we focus on creating and delivering articles that the CloudFest community really wants to read—and can really use.
