Uwe Kemmer is Director, EMEAI Field Engineering at Western Digital. He leads a team of engineers in Europe and India whose responsibilities include technical support for integrators and OEM manufacturers for all products in the Western Digital product portfolio. The focus of his work is on enterprise HDDs, SSDs and platform (JBOD & server) products. Uwe Kemmer has been with Western Digital for 25 years. Prior to the transition from HGST to Western Digital, he worked for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies and IBM. Before joining IBM, Uwe Kemmer was Manager Technical Service at Ingram Macrotron in Weiterstadt, Germany. Uwe Kemmer holds a degree in engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Rüsselsheim, specializing in communications engineering.
