Paul Vixie is a Director at SIE Europe U.G. and VP/DE at Amazon. He founded the first anti-spam company (MAPS, 1996), the first non-profit Internet infrastructure company (ISC, 1994), and the first neutral commercial Internet exchange (PAIX, 1991). Vixie was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2014, is an author of Cron and BIND, and of Internet standards extending DNS and DNSSEC. He worked at DEC Western Research Lab (1988-1993). Vixie earned his Ph.D. from Keio University in 2011.
