Luc Esprit

Luc has been with Dell EMC for the past 21 years and prior to Dell EMC worked for Thales and Cap Gemini. In 2007, he took a leadership position in EMEA South and successfully contributed to grow the business in this region. One of the keys to his success was his focus on developing people and relationships with various business units.
In 2009, when EMC acquired Data Domain, Luc was asked to lead the newly created BRS business unit in EMEA South. He especially enjoyed the challenge of building this new unit, striking the right balance between independence and leveraging synergies with the EMC core organization. He also managed to change the business model from an appliance sale to a solution selling approach.
Luc joined back the Data Protection Solutions (Ex. BRS / DPAD) in 2013, after a year of managing Greenplum, another Legacy EMC division, specialized in Big Data, at the EMEA Level.
Luc leads the EMEA Data Protection Solution Division: Sales, Pre-Sales and all support functions. His business focus is to lead our Sales Transformation in order to support our customers’ transformation, optimize their cost savings and engage a hybrid Cloud approach. DPS is one of the largest businesses for EMC and the largest margin contributor. Luc is a dynamic professional with a significant amount of years’ experience in Sales and Business Development within international companies. His experience includes domestic and international assignments holding Europe South, Middle East and African Business Development and Senior Sales Management roles in direct and indirect markets. Luc is a results-oriented manager, constantly exceeding goals and a natural problem-solver. Easy to work with, he is a great team player, skilled in the management of complex high value business sales within a multi-cultural environment.
