Hannes Schwaderer has been the Country Manager of Intel Germany GmbH since October 2018 and is responsible for all Sales and Marketing related operations. Prior he led the development and execution of solutions for all vertical end-customer segments in Germany as the Head of Enterprise Sales. In 2011, Hannes served as the Director Energy Sectors of the EMEA region and was responsible for the design and implementation of industry-specific solutions within the electricity, oil and gas sector. In addition to his role as Managing Director at Intel GmbH, he has been responsible for the company’s business activities in Central Europe from August 2004 until July 2015.
He began his career at Intel in 1994 as Retail Marketing Manager. In 1998, he continued to work as EMEA Market Development Manager and took on the position as Marketing Manager for Central Europe in the following year. From August 2002 to August 2011, he was responsible for all marketing and sales activities as Country Manager for Germany and Austria. Furthermore, Hannes Schwaderer acts as the President of Initiative D21, Europe’s biggest partnership and serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence at Technical University of Munich.
