Fred-Mario Silberbach, began his career in 1988 as a criminal investigator at the Bundeskriminalamt. He has a distinguished career spanning assignments in combating terrorism, extremism, and organized crime. With a focus on cybercrime, he excelled in national and international cooperation, management, evaluation, and investigations. From 2016 to 2023, he led two units in the Serious and Organised Crime Division, overseeing cybercrime investigations. In January 2024, he took up leadership of subdivision ‘Strategy and Service’ within the Cybercrime Division, focusing on strategy and coordination.
