Wolfgang studied Engineering and Business and holds a PhD in Energy Economics. He started his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, before he took different leadership roles in the solar industry based in Europe and California. Since 2015, Wolfgang has been COO of Europe’s biggest search engine: Ecosia, the search engine that plants trees.
