Robert Haas completed his PhD at ETH Zurich in 2003 and holds an MBA from Warwick University. With IBM since 1996, he has just returned to Research to lead the systems activities at the IBM Zurich Research Lab, after having held the role of CTO for Storage in Europe. He has contributed to over 60 patents, numerous scientific publications, and several standards in the data networking and storage areas.
