Dr. Auma Obama is the Founder and Director of the Auma Obama Foundation Sauti Kuu, international keynote speaker, journalist, author, and guest lecturer on the topics of ecological and economic sustainability and social responsibility. The sister of former US President Barack Obama works to give disadvantaged people a voice that is heard all over the world. Dr. Obama is chair of the Children and Youth Commission of the World Future Council, and has served for several years on the board of trustees of the Jacobs Foundation. Her long list of recognitions includes the Global Impact Award, IFAT Environmental Leadership Award, and World Human Rights Award.
