Dave Crocker designs distributed system architectures and standards. He worked in the ARPAnet and NSF-CSNet community and led development at MCI and various Silicon Valley startups, founding several, and serving as CEO for one. Dave developed two national email services and was CEO of a community non-profit Internet Service Provider. His senior management efforts covered email clients and servers, core protocol stacks for TCP/IP and OSI, network management, and knowledge management tools. Dave received the 2004 IEEE Internet Award. He volunteers for American Red Cross disaster responses.
