There are many Cloud conferences in 2025, but these are the most relevant for the internet infrastructure industry.
If you work in the internet infrastructure industry, you already know that no one company can provide the entire spectrum of solutions that a customer or client needs. Partnerships are everything, and staying up to date on the latest tools is mission-critical. Therefore it’s part of your job to attend Cloud computing conferences. The trick, of course, is to make sure you’re not wasting time and company budget on events that are irrelevant—or even worse, boring!
Besides producing the #1 internet infrastructure event on the planet, the CloudFest team spends a surprising amount of time at other events. “Game recognizes game” as the kids say, so these are the events on the 2025 calendar that we think are most important. Please note that we only chose vendor-neutral events to highlight.
CloudFest: March 17-20, 2025
CloudFest is a tightly-focused B2B event for leaders and innovators in the internet infrastructure space. This includes web hosters, cloud service providers, MSPs, WordPress and open-source specialists, startups, hardware vendors, government officials, corporate IT leaders… the list goes on. Each registration is hand-vetted to make sure that the entire audience is industry-relevant. Speakers have included Jimmy Wales, Steve Wozniak, Dr. Auma Obama, Jürgen Schmidhuber, Boris Becker, Birgitta Jonsdottir, Edward Snowden, Buzz Aldrin, and more.

This festival takes over Europa-Park in Germany’s Black Forest—to picture the venue vibe, imagine if Disneyland were designed by Wes Anderson. CloudFest is also home to the World Server Throwing Championship, which is even more fun and therapeutic than it sounds. Tickets start at 499€, but Cloud professionals can almost always get a free Standard Pass—for example by using code CF2025GO when you register. Just putting that out there.

March 17-20, 2025
Data Center World: April 14-17, 2025
Data Center World brings together the forces that bring distributed computing to life. From bare metal providers and sustainability experts to investors and regulators, expect a laser-focus on the hardware behind the internet. This conference will take place in Washington, D.C. Tickets start at 2,520€.
Bits & Pretzels: September 29-October 1, 2025
Taking place in Munich during Oktoberfest (!!!), Bits & Pretzels is a very cool gathering place for founders and innovators in the startup world. They actually limit their attendance to 7,500 people—otherwise, who knows how many people would show up!
We really like their style: Day Three of the event takes place at the actual Oktoberfest tables… so be ready for that! Early tickets start at 499€.
Web Summit: April 27-30 (Rio de Janiero), May 27-30, 2025 (Vancouver)
Web Summit has been described as “Glastonbury for Geeks”, and drew over 70,000 people(not a typo) to its last event in Lisbon. They attract A-list headline speakers like Pharrell Williams and Ryan Reynolds.
Since this mega-event covers everything online, the Cloud community may have trouble connecting with the most relevant people, since only one segment of the attendee base is there for Cloud solutions. Tickets start at 210€.
MSP GLOBAL: October 22-23, 2025
This digital transformation festival is for Managed Service Providers and the people who love them: value-added resellers, OEMs, cybersecurity vendors, systems integrators, and more. Its new home is at PortAventura theme park, just south of Barcelona. Speakers have included former Finland PM Sanna Marin, rock star/activist Bob Geldof, and Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker. As a sister event to CloudFest, this fast-growing tech conference features epic networking meet-ups each evening, and it’s only getting hotter! Tickets are free for those who are active in the MSP industry.
CloudFest USA: November 5-6, 2025
As you probably guessed, this is the North American edition of CloudFest. Not only is it on a different continent, but the focus is on smaller, independent players in the Cloud ecosystem. Partners and attendees also get access to NamesCon Global, the world’s top domain name industry event. (Time to take advantage of all those domain names gathering dust in your company’s portfolio!) Taking place in sunny Miami, USA, Tickets will start at around 280€ once registration opens (which will be soon).
If you’re attending any of these tech events, you might see someone from the CloudFest team—so give them a high five and have a chat! We certainly hope to see you at CloudFest in March, and also at MSP GLOBAL and CloudFest USA. These events have created a year-round community for those who build the Cloud and want to have a great time doing it.
