CloudFest is legendary for its parties and concerts, which we continue to insist upon calling “networking events”. These parties and concerts networking events are the most visible element of the social program on which this entire event is built. After all, the most successful cloud computing conference is the one that helps its attendees meet one another and form win-win partnerships—and that #1 event is CloudFest.
From morning group runs to after-hours at the bar, you have to work hard to NOT meet new people at CloudFest. Seriously, you’d have to hide in a corner or something. (Please don’t.)
For those not hiding in corners, here are the highlight networking opportunities to meet over 9,000 vetted attendees at Europa-Park during CloudFest 2025—and if you’re reading this after March 2025, you’ll still get a pretty good idea of what awaits you at future editions of the world’s top internet infrastructure event.
Come2Gather in the Streets
The Come2Gather Party is the traditional kickoff for CloudFest at Europa-Park. Together we take over an entire street for an immersive indoor/outdoor experience that sets the tone for the entire festival!
Live music is provided by the immortal Lords of Uptime, the Cloud’s own all-star band made up of leaders in the industry.—we hear that they’re planning their most ambitious set yet, so make sure you are 100% ready to rock!
Shamrock Shake
How lucky—Saint Patrick’s Day takes place during CloudFest this year! It’s a bit of an ongoing tradition that CloudFest attendees just miss this holiday, but not this time. While the town of Rust won’t let us dye the river green, our attendees can look forward to live music, tasty bites, and refreshing beverages at this Irish-themed party. (Okay, fine, so Shamrock Shake takes place the day after actual Saint Patrick’s Day, but we’re making it work.)
ConneXion Party
The arena rock is coming at you full-force as the music-hungry CloudFest community gets ready to turn it up to 11! This party is now legendary all over the world: come find out why. Traditionally the ConneXion Party is the apex of celebration during CloudFest, and it’s not unheard of to see people wearing sunglasses indoors the following morning.

BierFest
We’re in Germany’s Black Forest, so let’s close down CloudFest in the proper style with a proper beer festival. Yes, that includes people in Lederhosen standing on tables and cracking whips—you just have to experience it to believe it.
Steins, songs, sausages, and seriously good times await you!
Pop-Up After-Parties
From karaoke nights to after-hours conversations at the Cloud-famous Colosseo Bar*, every CloudFest attendee should keep an ear to the ground for the after-parties. Last year’s festival had a Club Night and even featured its own Pride party—which packed the venue shoulder to shoulder with what felt like half of Germany.
(*Yes, we know the upstairs bar at the Hotel Colosseo is officially called “Bar Colosseo”, but nobody in the CloudFest community calls it that. It’s “the Colosseo Bar” to you. And to me. And to everyone!)
Daytime Networking
From the Coffee Break stations and espresso carts to the VIP Lounge and outdoor DJ booth, this entire cloud computing conference is designed to get you talking to your next potential partner and new friend. Also, remember that Europa-Park is an amusement park: several rides and attractions are open during lunchtime during the festival, starting on the second day.
The Cloud Fair exhibition hall is famous for mixing work and play, as pop-up happy hours have become a beloved part of every attendee’s agenda. While the CloudFest event app is useful for many reasons, the Booth Party Alert is certainly a key function!
