Watch CloudFest CEO Christian Jaeger’s reaction to the rollercoaster drop!
Before CloudFest 2025 got underway, our own CEO Christian Jaeger and title partner WebPros CEO Christian Koch came to an agreement: the rollercoaster pitches are so much fun to watch, these two leaders would try one themselves.
Just a few weeks back, both men looked so calm and confident as they pitched the CloudFest 2025 event in a comfortable studio. Little did they know what an ordeal was coming!
I’m not sure when these two gentlemen even found time to head over to the Silver Star rollercoaster in Europa-Park; since CloudFest is four nonstop days and nights of sessions, pop-up activations, server throwing, partying networking, and pure rock ‘n’ roll. In any event, find time they did—and the results are pure gold!
Christian owns the stage (but not his usual one)
Seriously, check out this video, as Koch pitches WebPros’ vision for its Web Enablement Ecosystem. Then you’ll see Jaeger start screaming—much to the delight of Koch! You see, Jaeger isn’t very fond of heights, which makes it even more impressive that he even agreed to do this. The more scared Jaeger gets, the harder Koch laughs—just wait until the end!
Throughout the festival, Christian Jaeger has been passing this video around in the production office, to everyone’s delight. (“Schadenfreude” is a German word, after all!) Also, I hereby admit that I showed it to two of our star speakers, professional actors Julie Nolke and Gina Louise Philips, after one of their hands-on improv masterclasses. They gave it a solid 10/10, and I think you will too.
There’s something powerful in taking what you do seriously, without taking yourself too seriously. There’s a lot of that in the community of business leaders who come to CloudFest: they show us as people first and whatever-their-roles-are second. This dynamic gave this year’s theme of The Human Edge a special significance.
Maybe YOU’LL be on the rollercoaster at the next CloudFest!
On behalf of the whole team, we hope you’ll join us, your peers, and your future partners at CloudFest 2026—so don’t pencil these dates in… write them in backwards on your forehead with a black pen. You know, so you’ll see them every time you look in the mirror:
